Water Services is a private water supply specialist company dealing with
boreholes, wells, springs, water pumps
and water filtraion.
A1 Water Services already had a presence on the web in the form of a brochure style web site which gave an overview of the services and products that they offer. However, more recently the company started accepting credit cards as a method of payment and they wanted to therefore be able to take orders for certain goods via the web site. The product range is still relatively small, so at present a full self-manageable system is not viable for them.
Given the subject of the company, the web site performs very well in the search engine results and now that there are products to sell, we have integrated these items into Google Base which results in particular goods appearing at the top of the search engine results pages with links directly through to the site enabling customers to purchase immediately.
The web site consists of seven main pages/sections, with product and service specific pages further down. In total there are 20 pages making up this web site. There is a couple of days worth of graphics work included within the site which is not always necessary for every web site we design, however the e-commerce solution we have integrated has kept costs down.
